Foundation day was celebrated on 4th April 2013 with lots of fun. Residents and the staff members presented songs including qawali and dances which were appreciated a lot. Ms. Vasudha Kelkar whose husband Mr. Vishwanath Kelkar is in our care unit , presented an Abhang and everyone in audience was delighted to watch Mr. Kelkar accompanying her on the Tabla. There was an enchanting Odissi performance by Ms Nivedita Bhattcharya. Ms. Sonali Sinha presented annual report. Staff members were awarded best employee awards by our Trustee Shri Gopal Srinivasan and our founder president Dr. Sheilu Sreenivasan..
Ganesh Chathurthi was celebrated in township with great enthusiasm.
The festival is started with the arrival of Ganpati on 9th September 2013. An elaborate pooja was done by staff led by Mr Kailas Deshmukh and the residents. Bhajan, Housie for staff and games for residents were organized during this festival.
Two of our residents namely Ms. Hemlata Parekh and Dr. Usha Mantri had taken keen interest in organizing games and Housie respectively while Mr. Anil Tagare and Ms Mira Bhavnani organized the morning and evening poojas. It ended with immersion of Ganpati idol on 5th day.
Staff and residents of Dignity Lifestyle celebrated monsoon with great enthusiasm on 25th July.
On 24th we had Mehndi program for residents. We had songs sung by residents and specially Bandish in Malhar was rendered by Mrs. Vasudha Kelkar. The magic of the raag rendered by Vasudhaji was such that the rain really came down. Then we had quiz programme based on Hindi Film rain songs which was conducted by Dr. Usha Mantri.
Resident was divided in 3 teams Badal, Bijli and Barkha led by Mr Anil Tagare, Mrs Chandrika Shah and Mrs Mira Bhavnani respectively. The winner team in quiz was Bijali. This was followed by delicious mouth watering snacks made by our kitchen staff and residents. Everyone enjoyed program thoroughly.
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on 29th August 2013. The Temple was decorated with flowers.
We had traditional Dahi Handi also which was broken this year by our resident doctor Dr. Asha Manocha. This was followed by Bhajan in the temple. Our residents also sang Bhajans. The programme was organized by our resident Dr. Usha Mantri.
Diwali festival was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and excitement.
Dignity Lifestyle organized a function on October 31st 2013 to celebrate Diwali with residents and staff members.
The whole campus was illuminated with Lights and Diyas. The office area was decorated with traditional Rangolis, flowers and Torans. The evening was full of enchantment. The programme started with Hindustani classical vocal rendered by Ms. Vasudha Kelkar.She presented Abhang, Bhajan and Ghazals.
The second part of programme was Kathak dance based on film songs; the theme of dance was Krishna. The dances were presented by Aditi Bhadsavle and her group. The programme and evening was enjoyed by all the residents , staff members and guests.The evening celebration was ended with traditional food.
A candle light dinner was organised for the residents and staff on the occasion of Christmas with a Continental spread accompanied by Wine and Beer along with Gaiety and Cheer.

Ganpati festival was celebrate in the township for 5 days from 17th to 21st September 2015 with full religious fervor and enthusiasm. The residents and staff members took part in all the rituals. The Sthapana and Visarjan pooja were done by Kailas Deshmukh as directed by Vasantha Radhakrishnan. The games for staff were organized by Usha Mantri. To give a pious feel to the atmosphere Bhajans were organized. Most of the residents attended morning & evening Aartis and other rituals.
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on September 06, 2015 with the rendition of traditional Bhajans and the ritual of breaking the Dahi Handi . The Handi was broken by Mr. Bhavanishanker Rao. There was enthusiastic participation by one and all.
A story reading session was organized on 23rd September 2015. Renowned Hindi writer Dr. Suryabala read out two stories ‘ NA KINNI NA’ and ‘YAMRAJ SE MULAKAT’ which was a satire. In the past we used to have lectures on various subjects but this time we decided to do something different which was much appreciated by everyone. We are extremely satisfied that our residents liked and enjoyed this change.
